Life has gotten in the way of my online shennanigans!
I've been portfolio building and loving it! Natural light is most deffinatly my strength and I am happy that the weather and sunshine are perfect right now!

Long time no post!

Hectic, hectic, hectic. That is my life. Pretty obvious since I haven't posted since February, huh?
I haven't done any shoots except on my own kids and random outdoor findings.

!!!!!!! I am still trying to figure out the set up and site hosting thing but I'm excited! I would have never even bought my own domain name but it was $1.99 with the purchase of another domain I bought, so here I am! I'll post once its up and going!

Oh! I got my new lense! Its a 50mm/1.8! I'm not that fond of it just yet because its manual focus but it does take amazing pictures! I need to get outside and play around with it but I've been really sick so far all month and havent had the chance. I'm sure once I do, I'll love it!

A few new pics

So on Saturday (1/29) I went to the Jacksonville Zoo with my kids and some friends.
We had a great time, the weather was perfect and of course, I had my camera with me! LOL
I got some really cute shots I just wanted to share.

This is my son feeding a giraffe.

I don't know the correct name for this, but to me its a monkey! He reminds me of Marcel from Friends (remember that?!?) He was up at the window playing with people and I got a couple cute shots of him!

I LOVE butterflies! This one was being still enough for me to get a good pic of it and it was on one of those pretty purple flowers so I couldn't resist!

So I'm still working on editing the pics for my friend. Its been a long hectic week and I've just had no motivation to get finished but I am forcing myself to have them done on Saturday so I can give the CD of pics on Sunday when we go over for the Super Bowel (go Steelers!).
